Arneis translates to 'little rascal' in Italy. But this is Australia, and we speak Aussie. You know, not so polite. Enter Petit Batard, or the 'Little Bastard'.

Great Southern Arneis cold soaked on skins for 5 days. We promise this was absolutely done on purpose and not because Paul drank too many bottles of champagne after processing the fruit.

Wild fermented in concrete and stainless steel to hold onto the freshness and unique purity. And boy did we hold onto some freshness!! Pretty flowers, white stone fruits, pears and a little nuttiness from some time left on lees. The slightest bit of grip from that well planned time on skins while still staying light and sea breezy. Eat something salty with the 'little bastard' we reckon!
